WordPress Dashboard>Appearance>Menus.
- Click Create a New Menu. Name your menu (such as “Main Navigation”) and click Create Menu.
- Select the pages/categories you want to have in your menu. You can also enable the setting to automatically add top-level pages to your menu. While this is helpful not to have to add every page to the menu, use with caution if a page gets created that doesn’t belong on your primary menu especially.
- At the bottom of the page, under Menu Settings, select Primary (if it’s your main menu)>Save Menu.
The number and locations of your menus will depend on which theme you have. For additional information, check the documentation for your specific theme.
